Welcome to Zippos Circus 2008 where this season we enjoy a double celebration – first with so much pride and admiration we celebrate ringmaster Norman Barrett's diamond anniversary of performing with a fantastic programme that also celebrates the warmth and passion of Spain! Why Spain? Well, when Norman first stepped into the ring sixty years ago very few British holidaymakers ventured far from our shores but in the past decades millions of us have travelled far and wide with Spain holding a special affection it still being one of the most popular holiday destinations for us Brits! Latin rhythms and melodies lend themselves well to the circus and the music of the flamenco accompanies the heart stopping pounding of our horses' hooves and the juggler's dexterity! Spain's finest acrobats and clowns join artistes from Russia, Germany, France and the United Kingdom in a fiesta of fun!
